University College London Google Earth
Following on from our model of the BT Tower we have placed online a model of the University College London Campus. The model is undergoing further development but coupled with the models already online and future sections it is starting to build up a picture of the Bloomsbury/Fitzrovia area.
Interestingly the model is now under 100K. If people would like to see any specific buildings modelled let us know...
You can download the kmz file to fly into the model in Google Earth here (94k)

Excellent!
ReplyDeleteNot sure how it's done, but there are some buildings included that aren't part of UCL (like Waterstones Malet St!) & some missing like the Windeyer near the BT tower.
Another UCL landmark is the Engineering tower on Malet St some 11 storeys high, would be nice to see that at the right height!
Look forward to the updates! Cheers!
Thanks for the comment - the first model is more proof of concept we now have a new map of UCL with the recent build on and it will updated shortly....

ReplyDeleteDon't forget the new LCN building! (And you could add a mock up of the in planning "panopticon" as well...)
