Back in August last year we took at look at Metropolis Street Racer under our Cities in Games series. Created by Bizarre Creations and renamed Project Gotham the game is now on version 4, released on the XBox 360.

Project Gotham leads the way in digital city production and we can often be found not playing the game as such but driving around to simply look at the 3D city models.

The fan made trailer below provides an insight into the game:



Bizarre Creations have posted a movie taking a background look at the city creation process in Project Gotham, this is a must for anyone interested in 3d city modelling:



In our view every architecture or design visualisation office should have a copy of Project Gotham Racing running, not only to show what is possible in realtime with a game engine but also to illustrate the state of the art in city modelling.
