A quick tip that the November 2007 issue of 3D World Magazine comes with 18 free building textures courtesy of Texturama.
The quality of the images is high and with under 30 minutes of work you can use them to build a small scene in Second Life - as we have done, pictured above and below (click for larger views):
Textures are all important in environments such as Second Life, the 18 free textures are well worth checking out.
