BlinkGeo - Like Digg but GeoSpatial News
BlinkGeo is a user-submitted geospatial news and stories web site. Community driven it is similar in many ways to sites such as Digg and Reddit. A while ago we put up a post entitled To Digg or Not to Digg coming to the conclusion that geospatial and architectural posts were not really suited to such services.
BlinkGeo had however changed all that and despite running for little under a month has become one of a favorites places to browse all the happening's in the geospatial community with topics ranging from Google Earth to ArcScene, GPS and general CAD.
The site has its own community mascot 'Blink' pictured right who is now included in the footer of all our posts.
The process is simple, if you like a post on this blog or any other where you see 'blink' then click to assign the post a vote. The more community driven votes a post receives the more it exposure it will get.
So although we decided not to digg, we do intend to blink...
