Leadenhall Market London Panorama

Leadenhall Market is a covered Victorian structure housing a unique range of shops, produce and small boutiques. Designed by Sir Horace Jones in 1881 it has been a site of trading since the 14th Century.

As a test we have also put the panorama online in the Devalvr viewer(Devalvr.com) which directly opens QuickTime VR. This is interesting as it means users are no longer are required to download the hefty QT plugin which only comes bundled with iTunes.

The panorama view can be resized via the right hand drag icon (a triangle) or viewed full screen via the left hand menu.

Any thoughts or comments on performance are welcome.

Thank you for such an interesting website, one that I now check each day. You certainly live near to extraordinary locations for your panoramas.

For some time, I have been looking for a way to put GPS tags on my photographs, so that readers learn where the pictures were taken, and so that they know exactly where to visit the same scene. In truth, very few people actually walk around with GPS receivers in their pockets, but the concept is nevertheless compelling.

Earlier Web-based maps just didn't seem to do the trick. Your success with Google Earth turns the tide and has been a great incentive for my own experiments, and an initial example is recently posted on my blog.

Keep up the wonderful work, and I'll be looking forward to your next achievement.
